2024 1st Round Mock Draft

1. Chicago Bears | QB Caleb Williams USC This pick was selected months ago but we know they'll go the entire time for no reason at all, we can move on... 2. Washington Commanders | QB Jayden Daniels LSU The Commanders start their new era with a new franchise quarterback. The hope is he can propel the team to relevance again. With how they've been hitting the headlines recently fans have to still be shaky of the new administration. 3. New England Patriots | QB Drake Maye North Carolina They fielded offers for certain, but in the final hours it seems they have settled on Maye if he falls. This is great for the franchise and Mayo who I am excited to see take over the team.  4. *Trade* Minnesota Vikings | QB JJ McCarthy Michigan Folks, we have a trade to announce! The final "top" quarterback on the board compels the Vikings to move up to stay relevant and the Cardinals are prepared to deal as we saw last year.  5. *Trade* Indianapolis Colts | WR Marvin Harrison Jr. Ohio S...

2023 Player Profile Archive

2023 Player Profile Archives Quarterbacks Bryce Young QB Alabama When you watch Bryce Young, you can't help but think of Drew Brees because of the number he wears and the skill he has throwing the ball, while some of his mannerisms, ability to escape the pocket, and ability to throw on the move are almost a spitting image of Deshaun Watson. Bryce Young understands the mental side of the game. His time to throw has increased slightly this season, which is understandable given that he has lost some significant offensive talent. I still believe he has an elite capacity for moving through his progressions with a quick throwing motion that allows for good throw timing. He is also extremely accurate, doing an excellent job of aligning his head, body, and feet for precise ball placement. He demonstrates NFL arm strength when both set and on the run. The inconsistencies in velocity are the source of the majority of my concerns. I believe the problem is fixable and is caused by an inconsist...

2023 1st Round Mock Draft

1.  Carolina Panthers - QB Bryce Young, Alabama The Carolina Panthers traded up to gain control of the draft. Early in the process, it appeared like Stroud or Richardson were the team's targets, but there appears to have been a shift in gear, and Young has emerged victorious. He is my number one quarterback, and I believe this is the right move because Young has established himself as the undisputed number one quarterback.  2.  Houston Texans - EDGE Will Anderson Jr, Alabama While attempting to make a trade with the Chicago Bears, the Texans were lulled to sleep. They had a chance to move up one slot to land their future quarterback, but with the Panthers' great smoke screen of Stroud or Richardson targets, the Texans felt safe and steadfast with their offer. The Texans must now face the music and either trade out of the second pick or go non-QB, since leaks from Houston indicate they are dissatisfied with the rest of the quarterback class. Ryans' desire to strengthen the...

2022 NFL Draft Profiles

The 2022 Draft has come to a close. I cannot wait to start looking at the 2023 class. Below you will find the collection of my profiles for each position, a total of 238 prospects. If I had to give out awards for draft day winners four teams come to mind, the New York Jets, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Jets came away with a strong first 3 picks getting great value at 26 with Jermaine Johnson. The Chiefs will attempt to replace the energy of Mathieu with Trent McDuffie, found excellent value in Karlaftis who will allow Jones to move back inside. Skyy Moore gives them a potential replacement for Hill and they found great value in the mid rounds. They filled needs but did so without reaching, they deserve a round of applause for the potential heist they pulled off. The Ravens put on a clinic accruing very talented players, I am lower on Linderbaum, but grabbing Travis Jones in the third and Armour-Davis in the fourth was not something I th...

2022 1st Round Mock Draft

1. Jacksonville Jaguars - EDGE Travon Walker, Georgia Walker has been on the rise the last few days and as of writing this he is the odds favorite to be the first overall pick. According to Tony Pauline of Pro Football Network ownership loves Hutchinson, Pederson apparently loves Ikem Ekwonu, who I can't help but be reminded of Jason Peters, and then we have Trent Baalke, Baalke wants Walker. Is it spitefulness against Jim Harbaugh, is his constant need to be strange or look like he some mastermind forcing him to make this pick. I can't tell you the answer because I'm not in the room what I can tell you is he likely wins the argument and gets to make his pick.  2. Detroit Lions - EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux Oregon With Hutchinson not going first overall you'll likely be even more surprised by my next pick here. For the Lions I suspect they would go with the Oregon rather than the home grown Michigan man or a quarterback here. The Lions have down a lot of research and spoke w...
